Steam Engines

Her Lloyd is telling about the impressing power in steam engines. Used in both tractors and cars.

- They were smooth running, so what happened to steam, Lloyd askes.

He also tells that his uncle, John Erickson, was one who had no use for steam tractors right from start. He has grown up in South Dakota and it is a little known fact that the first tractors in the world were used in S. D. about 1890, he writes.

John Ericson bought his Rumely in 1913
